X Stretch Video – Day 14

X Stretch VideoToday was day 14 of my 90 day workout with the P90X system, and as always, X Stretch helped me with the tightness in my hamstrings…

Most importantly, X Stretch helps me relax by releasing stress and tension I have stored in my muscles—particularly the ones in my neck and upper back. I’m wondering if I can do X Stretch more than once a week to get more limber, because I’m still having issues straightening my legs during certain routines like Ab Ripper X, where we’re asked to lay on our backs and put our legs up straight in the air. I have a feeling that it may take several weeks of consistent stretching to achieve that kind of flexibility.

I’m halfway through Phase 1 of P90X, and am starting to see some more definition throughout my body, especially in the upper body.  I’ll be taking my progress photos again tomorrow, but I’m not sure the photos will as sharply reflect my observations. I still haven’t got around to it, but I think that I need to add cycling at least 2 to 3 times a week to help burn off more fat, because I don’t feel that Kenpo X and Plyometrics are enough. I’ll give it a shot soon and see how my body responds—and if I end up losing fat, muscle, or both…
