Day 8 of My P90X Review – Chest, Back and Ab Ripper X DVD

P90X Chest and Back DVDToday was day 8 of my 90 day P90X workout, and I did the Chest, Back, and Ab Ripper X DVD for the second time…

Thankfully, today went much better than last week’s day 1 P90X chest and back workout. I felt much stronger and more confident today while doing many of the exercises, and while I did get nauseous about halfway through the program, I didn’t get sick. I simply paused the video, took a 10 minute break, and then came back to finish the rest of the DVD. Worked like a charm.

I also began using a floor fan today which helped to keep things cool. If you’re not using a fan during your P90X workouts, try it out.

As far as my diet goes, I ate well again today. I was running low on groceries so I went shopping this morning and scored a major haul — tons of great food lined up for this week. Some of the highlights include:

  • Bran muffins
  • Organic kale, spinach, tomatoes, apples, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and cucumbers
  • Fat free Greek yogurt
  • Fat free cottage cheese
  • Chicken breast
  • Canned tuna
  • Whole grain bread
  • Steel cut oats
  • Low fat string cheese
  • Unsalted soy nuts

I’ve also been drinking a chocolate Shakeology shake once a day as a meal replacement. These shakes are delicious and highly nutritious, definitely recommended.
