Overall, I thought that Core Synergistics was challenging — yet it seemed to go by faster than many of the other P90X DVD’s. While the length of the video was anĀ  hour long, it seemed shorter than the other hour-long workouts for some reason.

The exercises in the P90X Core Synergistics workout were essentially a mixture of push-ups, lunges, and core strengthening routines. Also, the only equipment needed for this workout were dumbbells and a mat.

I actually started to feel a little nauseous today toward the tail end of the workout, and I had to pause a few times to keep it together. Ultimately, I made it through okay and was even able to complete the bonus round.

My diet is still on track, and I’m eating well despite the fact that it’s a holiday weekend. I had eggs and whole grain toast for breakfast, a green smoothie with egg whites a few hours later, slammed a glass of P90X Recovery Drink post-workout, I’m in the process of drinking a chocolate Shakeology shake as I type this, and will be grilling chicken breast and veggies for dinner. I’ll also have a little Greek yogurt with dinner.
