P90X Legs and Back Workout – Day 40

P90X Legs, Back, and Ab Ripper XToday was day 40 of P90X, and I had a pretty rough day today…

I woke up this morning with a sore left knee — I think I pushed myself a little too hard during yesterday’s Yoga X workout. I may have done okay during the leg routines, but I didn’t want to risk it. I ended up skipping the leg workouts today and doing the back exercises in addition to Ab Ripper X.

I gotta admit, I felt pretty guilty riding the fast forward button — but the last thing I want right now is to get injured and end up riding pine for a while.

Ab Ripper X went well again, and I completed all 50 Mason Twist reps at the end for the very first time. I was really fighting hard today as my abs were a bit sore from yesterday, but I still managed to get a great workout in though.

So far today, I’ve had an egg white omelet, whole grain toast, and some tuna salad that I make (tuna, Greek yogurt, walnuts, celery, and an apple). I’m going to make a chocolate Shakeology smoothie in a few minutes with some ice, a banana, and some natural peanut butter.
