P90X Motivation and Demoralizers

Just thought I’d add this note in before day one tomorrow…

My girlfriend Michelle has been putting down the P90X workout and telling me that because of the amount of beer that I drink (and the sugar levels that go with it), I’m going to crash after the workouts and basically implying that I cant do it… I totally intend to prove her wrong.

I just got off of Skype with my sister who is living in America for a few years who (without intending to) referred to the P90X exercise program as a “detox” and a “fad” because of her own experiences. I totally do not anticipate this being a fad, and I sure as hell know it’s not a detox.

Although I feel like I’ve been kicked in the teeth by those closest to me (completely unintentionally – I know they love me lol) – it just feels like they don’t have faith in me to succeed. So.. I’m going to destroy these 90 days with everything that I have in me.

I must admit to not having worked out my body fat percentage yet (I don’t have any calipers) really need to get that sorted ASAP…

Right… off to cook off a couple of chicken breasts and chop a salad for tomorrows lunch. :O)
