Today was day 39 of P90X, and once again I tackled the 90 minute challenge that is Yoga X. While Yoga X is extremely difficult, I firmly believe that it’s one of the best yoga videos for beginners.
When I first started working out with the Yoga X DVD, there were many moves that I couldn’t do — but I did my best. Slowly, over time, I’ve gotten to the point where I can now do the majority of the moves in the video and it’s only been a little over 1 month since I began. Really, the only sequence that causes problems for me still is the Warrior Three section with moves like Half Moon.
The P90X program has been my first exposure to yoga, and I truly believe that Yoga X is a great video for beginners and advanced participants. It has plenty of beginning yoga poses, but also contains some of the more advanced postures as well that yoga beginners can work up to.
