Yoga X P90X Workout – Day 18

Today was day 18 of my P90X workout, and I completed the Yoga X DVD again…

First, I gotta say that I felt some slight joint pain two days ago following the Plyometrics routine, and am thinking that I need to get one of those padded interlocking surfaces to do such high impact exercises on. I currently just exercise on carpet, but I need to take care of my joints, especially since other routines like Yoga X also rely on them.

Today’s Yoga X was the best I’ve ever had. I actually pulled off the moves that challenged me in the past weeks, which start off with Warrior Three and then progress to Table and other moves which keep one leg up in the air for what seems like an eternity…and then you have to do the same on the other side. This week was the first week I managed to not drop my leg before the people in the video did. My core continues to get stronger as well, because I did very well in the core section of the routine.

I’m looking forward to P90X tomorrow, because the weekend should allow me to get sufficient rest to attack Legs & Back, plus Ab Ripper X, and then Kenpo X on Sunday. I also hope to put some miles down on my road bike before X Stretch on Monday.
